Google's Project Fi service can soon get a serious upgrade. According to a now deleted post from BGR, which appears to be a broken embargo on an upcoming Google message, Google Project Fi opens to more devices.
More specifically, Google can add support for devices from Samsung, OnePlus, like LG and Motorola, reports Droid Life. Some LG and Motorola devices are already working with Project Fi, but Google may add more devices from these brands to their arsenal.
And if OnePlus and Samsung were not enough, Google could add support for Apple's iPhone devices – in beta.
The only catch here is that you may not get the full "Google Fi" experience on these devices. And for the whole Fi experience, you must have devices that are "designed for Fi" and are officially sold by Google and its partners.
And brand the Google Fi brand? Google could finally release Project Fi branding and replace it with the Google Fi brand, as we reported earlier this month.
