164 sickened and a death in ongoing turkey almonella eruption: CDC

The centers for disease control and prevention said death was in California but did not have any immediate details. Since November of November, the Office reported that 164 people had been ill in 35 states, where the last case was reported on October 20. No products have been recalled and the agency has not recommended people to avoid turkey. But it said it believes the outbreak is widespread and ongoing, and it reminded people to properly prepare and manage turkey with thanksgiving approaches.
