Street Fighter 5 & Champion's Edition (almost) collects everything so far, out February • Eurogamer.net

Street Fighter is not, it is fair to say, a series shy of unpacking itself for a new ride, and now Street Fighter 5 is founded to get its third release, this time in the form of Champion Edition, which will be coming to PS4 and PC on February 14 next year.

The Champion Edition, which follows last year's Arcade Edition, includes almost everything released so far for Street Fighter 5. In total, there are 40 characters, 30 scenes and over 200 costumes, though Fighting Chance suits, trademark collaborations and Capcom Pro Tour DLC will not included.

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition gets a physical and digital edition on PlayStation 4 and will also be available on Steam, where all versions cost $ 24.99 / $ 29.99. Additionally, those who already own a previous edition of Street Fighter 5 can purchase the Upgrade Kit for $ 19.99 / $ 24.99 USD. It is available now and provides instant access to new Championship Edition content before launching in February.

This includes the new fighter Gill, who joins the Street Fighter 5 list in December along with the new Sun Chase Moon scene, both of which are described in more detail in Capcom's latest blog post. Players who do not want to upgrade their existing version of the game can purchase Gill separately for $ 4.99 / $ 5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money, while the new stage will cost 3.29 / $ 3.99 USD or 70,000 Fight Money.

Nergigante Blanka.

Upgrade owners will also have access to Street Fighter 5's Christmas content when it arrives later this month. New festive clothing for G, Poison and Lucia (alternatively available for $ 3.29 / $ 3.99 USD) will be released on November 18, and the new Holly Jolly Beatdown stage, which gives Abigail's car shop a winter makeover, will also be included in $ 1.69 / $ 1.99 or 40,000 Fight Money.

However, that's not really the end of Street Fighter 5 news; Capcom says players in all versions will get new V-skills for each character, along with balance changes, in a free update coming in December. In addition, players can earn a Monster-Hunter themed Nergigante costume for Blanka in Extra Battle mode from November 22 to December 20.

And if you suddenly have the mood to fight some streets after all this, the game is currently free to try for a week on Steam.
