Boris Johnson is interviewed in a number of Scottish newspapers this morning "stumbling" the Prime Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, by refusing to debate.

He told the Daily Record:

Although she can be very influential in our politics, she has no place in the House of Commons and she cannot be prime minister either. The candidate for Prime Minister Nicola Sturgeon would support is Jeremy Corbyn. That is why he is the appropriate person to debate.

The interview took place yesterday just as the SNP and Lib Dem's failed court action to participate in the ITV leaders debate ended, a decision that the SNP has described as a "democratic shame".
