(Reuters) – Britain's Lloyds Banking Group Plc (LLOY.L) will reduce about 6,000 jobs, Sky News reported on Monday.
Work cutouts would come from a wide range of areas across the bank, including its group transformation, corporate banking, retail and community banking operations, "said Sky News, quoting sources.
However, the bank will announce Tuesday that it will also create approximately 8,000 new jobs, which means a net sales figure of 2000 jobs, reports the report.
