Currently, about 80,000 people are infected
There are currently about 20,000 people in Slovenia whose tests have confirmed a new coronavirus infection. The real numbers are much higher. The Jožef Stefan Institute, which prepares forecasts for the spread of covid-19 disease, estimates that at present about 4% of the population is infected, or about every 25th inhabitant of Slovenia (about 83,000 people).
When do we start releasing actions?
The government has adopted a strategy to release antibody measures, with the seven-day average of those infected and the number of patients in hospitals identified as the most important conditions. The release of measures only begins in the country when the number of infections drops below 1350 in the last seven days and less than 1,200 patients are in hospital.
