Ducati MIG-RR – electric motorcycle from the fastest motorcycle manufacturer



Electric cars are fashionable and they are also aware of car manufacturers or the latest motorcycles. Following BMW or General Motors, Ducati Ducati introduced the MIG-RR electric cycle.

The bike was created in cooperation with Ducati and the Italian company Thok E-bikes, specializing in electric bikes. The ergonomic bicycle frame is made of aluminum, which is surprising when we take it as a premium brand and the price is not the lowest. Designed by the designer Aldo Drudi in cooperation with the Ducati Design Center, the bike looks perfect.

MIG-RR is a mountain Enduro bike designed for every terrain. The engine is the Shimano Steps E8000 with three levels of help – Eco, Trail and Boost. There will be no Power-Walk mode to help push the bike. The addition is the Shimano E-Tube, where you can set Trail and Boost modes in three different positions.

The power is taken care of by the 504 Wh Shimano battery, located at the bottom of the frame. You can also charge when the battery is in the bike. The frame is also flared from both sides and is not missing the Kashima Factory Series FOX DPX2. Shimano XT Shimano XT consists of 11 speeds.

The weight of a bike is higher than usual in electric bikes. MIGG-RR weighs 22.5 kg. The speed of the bicycle using dial-up is limited to a typical 25 kilometers per hour.

If you are interested in the news from Ducati, it will be ordered from January 2019 with availability in spring 2019. The price is 6 250 € which is a big difference compared to the competition. On the other hand, if you've always wanted Ducati, and you have no money on the bike, why not take a more environmentally friendly way.
