SINGAPORE: Twenty-two people were taken to hospital after a car and a bus collided on Jurong Island Highway on Sunday (December 6) morning.
The Singapore Civil Defense Force (SCDF) said it was warning of a road traffic accident along the Jurong Island motorway at 7am on Sunday.
The accident happened towards the end of the highway, police said.
Twenty bus passengers, all men, were taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital (NTFGH), Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and National University Hospital (NUH), police said.
The driver, a 42-year-old man, was also aware when he was taken to NUH.
Everyone was aware when they were taken to hospital, police say.
The SCDF said eight people were taken to Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, 11 to NUH and three to SGH.
Video circulating on social media showed that a bus crashed on the side and the front half of the car was smashed.
Police investigations are ongoing.
