Seventeen years have passed since one of our greatest actresses, legendary Radmila Savićević, left us today.

With her watery talent and magnificent unbelievable roles, she was the only one she could play; she left an indelible mark in the history of this story, while with her instincts, joke, warmth, kindness, energy and naturalness she won the whole nation's heart and became one of the most beloved actress ever.

Rada Savicevic was a symbol of the Serbian people who still remember her legendary roles where she was irreversible. The famous mother Vuka, the unmatched Žarka, the legendary Riska, the unreparatable minister, are just some of the anthological roles that Radmila Savićević received immortality.

Radmila Savićević was born as Radmila Milenković on February 8, 1926 in Kruševac.

She had her first public appearance in elementary school. Like Baba Sara in the same recitation. By reciting and acting, she continued to work in the Sokol Theater and in the dramatic section "Abrašević". During World War II he participated in charity events for prisoners in German camps.

He plays in "Djidu", the first held the theater in the liberated Krusevac 1945, performed by members of the amateur theater and the second proletariat. He is a participant in a large-scale work of May picking in Vojvodina, where he personally organizes and leads a youth group who, during the same year, donates the second post-war period "Perkin's Mission in Bolshevik Country" to the crowd in Kruševo.

On April 1, 1946, he became a permanent member of the district (city) theater in Kruševac, founded on March 29 that year. On May 1, she debuted in the first performance of the newly formed theater "Parents Home" Valentina Katayeva, who interprets Maria Martinova's figure. The performance was held at the renovated casino "Kasina". For eight seasons, from 1946 to 1954 she played almost seventy-one roles in the domestic and foreign drama repertoire. A commitment to the National Theater in Nis followed Aleksandra Ostrovsky's "Wisdom and Two Madness", but the party committee returned to its hometown with the explanation: "Why Rada should maintain Nyslia whenever it can and ours."

In 1955 he became a member of the National Theater in Niš. From 1955 to 1970 he worked over Fifty plays in the National Theater's rich drama repertoire in Nis.

1970. becomes a member of the Belgrade Dramatheater – a scene at the Red Cross, where he received an old-age pension, which he leaves on April 1, 1986 with a total work experience of forty years. Her career did not end with retirement. She also had a golden anniversary – half a century on stage.

Doku played four times in Krusevac, directed by Miroslav Petrovic, Mijo Nauparac and Borisav Mihailovic, 1946, 1948, 1949 and 1952. He won the first major role in television in 1969 as Živka Štrba in the "Singers" series by Gordan Mihić. He quickly became a favorite TV person and gained enormous popularity. She has accomplished a number of anthological roles – Mother Vuka y "Theaters in the house", Violeta Kruška y "truckermand", Shurdina baba Savka y "hotm knowru "Baby Tommy in the series"Babino granddaughter", Živadinka Žarka Šijaković y "betterm životy", Ristana Riska Golubović y "Srećnim peoplemand".

She also received the "Vecer" award for the most popular television feature in Macedonia in 1977. She played in the movies "Sasha", "Dr", "Buba Šinter", "V-3", "Višnja na Tašmajdan", "Tigar", "Džangrizalo", "Vreme čuda", "", "Video meals, green numbers "and many others.

The favorite project she worked on was the children's show "Good evening, children" at Television Belgrade, Belgrade in 1996.

Her character is also on the stamp of the series "The Serbian Actors Greats".

She said: "Both words and five sentences are of great importance, if they lead to perfection. I do not feel the second time."

In 2016, her book "Radmila Savicevic – The First and Last" was published on her life and work, containing over fifty interviews with our greatest actors and directors whose comments testify that Rada Savicevic was undoubtedly one of the biggest Serbian actresses in it twentieth century.
