Strategic Plan for Monitoring, Control and Prevention of HIV / AIDS (PNS) 2018-2020!



The Health Secretariat has publicly discussed the draft National Strategic Plan for Monitoring, Control and Prevention of HIV / AIDS Infection (PNS) in the period 2018-2020. After the end of the debate, the draft government decision will be handed over to the government's approval.

The draft legislative act also proposes that the Commission be reinstated for the monitoring, control and prevention of HIV / AIDS cases, which coordinates the implementation of the national strategy for the monitoring, control and prevention of HIV / AIDS cases at national level.

"We need a strategic framework to regulate the necessary efforts to prevent the spread of these diseases and to ensure access to treatment and care of HIV / AIDS. This plan will support the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of national and local intervention programs and projects in the field of HIV / AIDS infection monitoring, control and prevention by 2020. The funds needed for the implementation of the National Strategy for the Control, Control and Prevention of HIV / Aids are provided by the state budget, social security fund, from additional budget revenue and other international funding, including structural funds.

The last approved strategy in the field was the period 2004-2007 (DG No 1342 of 26 August 2004 approving the National Strategy for Monitoring, Control and Prevention of HIV / AIDS 2004-2007). Subsequent documents were drafted (last year 2010 under the auspices of the National Commission for Combating Aids, directed against the 2011-2015 period) without being officially approved.
