Five flygraces were diverted on Saturday from Cluj Napoca to Sibiu Airport due to weather conditions, fog and low visibility.
According to the representatives of Sibiu Airport, five flights have been diverted from Cluj to Sibiu due to the dense fog.
The first deflected airplane, which came from Frankfurt, landed around 18:00 and passengers were transported by bus to Cluj.
Meteorologists issued on Saturday night new fog-yellow code warnings for several counties, including Cluj to 23.

According to the Romanian police infantry center, due to the dense fog that reduced visibility below 150 meters, and sometimes below 50 meters, traffic is difficult on several roads in Alba, Bistrita-Nasaud, Cluj, Mures and Suceava.
Also due to the dense dimming, several flights were scheduled to take off from Avram Iancu International Airport in Cluj, redirected to Sibiu International Airport and Timisoara.
Alba, Sibiu, Mureş, Cluj and Bistrita-Nasaud County are under fog until 23.00. Dimma causes visibility decreases, locally under 200 meters and insulated below 50 meters.
