Huawei does not like a good reputation if we take into account the flagship smartphone update policy (interestingly, it is different when it comes to models from the lower shelf). Customers' dissatisfaction is also featured on Twitter, where the topic is returned as a boomerang. With more joy, I am quick to inform you that the Huawei P20 Pro received security updates from October today.
I have the impression that Huawei reads my review of Mate 20 Pro with great attention, for example, to complain about support for the P-series flagship. Until today, P20 Pro had security fixes as of July. And now I say quite perversely: Of course, the changes from October are happy, but … eight days ago (which I'm counting on;)) Another month began, it's November.
The availability of updates was announced, among other things, by Ania, which you can associate as a previous author with the Tablet (greetings!).
Hehe, I think the horror was afraid of surprise tomorrow ? pic.twitter.com/7g17FSmfsc

By the way, security patches are much more current than before, it's worth remembering that as soon as November 10 (or just depending on how you look at it), P20 Pro (and several other Huawei models) will be upgraded to Android 9.0 Pie. Of course, it will be issued gradually, so I will not be surprised if the update will only be displayed in my home country within this period, after which it will only come to Poland at a time. When this happens, or if we have relevant information related to the date of Cutting, we will notify you.
What I'm curious about is what will be the issue of support for the Huawei Mate 20 Pro – what do you think when will the model get the November changes?
