The collaboration of the Office of Electronic Communications with Allegro led to changes in the acoustic service and removal of offers on 560 GSM signal amplifiers, so-called repeaters. Their parish and use of unauthorized persons are prohibited in Poland.
Unauthorized use of GSM signal repeaters (repeaters) may cause interference to the base stations in mobile networks. Collaborate with UKE, Allegro has changed the terms of its rules, which requires that each sale be offered to the department "GSM Accessories"> "Antennas and Amplifiers" contained a note:
Independent assembly and use of GSM / UMTS / LTE repeaters, also called repeaters of unauthorized persons, is prohibited by law. Only mobile operators have the right to install this type of device. Failure to follow this can be regarded as fined and in the case of permanent action, jail or imprisonment for up to 2 years.
Offers without the above-mentioned provisions will be considered inconsistent with the provisions and may be removed. On October 25th, the auction site had removed 560 offers.
Collaboration with Allegro's website is a way in which the electronic communications office reduces the use of amplifiers and makes potential buyers aware of the damage and the illegality of using these devices. The UKE has also developed an information campaign aimed at raising radio producers on the effects of their illegal use. One of the elements in the campaign is a poster that will be distributed by the agency's delegations throughout Poland.

A GSM amplifier is an active radio device that mediates signal transmission between a cellular base station and a subscriber terminal. It is used for unsatisfactory quality levels and availability of mobile phone services to subscribers. According to the Telecommunications Act, the use of radio equipment (except the exceptions specified in the current regulations) requires a radio license.
If the repeater does not meet the technical standards, it is damaged, improperly installed or placed too close to the base station, it may cause a significant increase in the electromagnetic background near the base station. This significantly limits the range of the station and may cause junk interruption and makes it difficult to connect to the base station. UKE draws attention to the fact that contact with services responsible for orders and security and emergency services can be difficult.
