Xiaomi is best known on our forum to release powerful phones at affordable prices. While some of you may have negative views about your company's custom Android application, MIUI, you can not deny that Xiaomo's development work has been spectacular in recent months. The company sends MIUI updates to dozens of devices and their submark, POCO, helps the development community. The company has updated some of its devices to Android Pie, and now Mi A2 Lite is the latest device to release the update. The Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite was released in July as a budget Android One smartphone with some respectful specifications, including a 4000mAh battery and a headphone jack.
The Android Pie MiA2 Lite Beta Program Hardly Started Two Weeks ago. Apparently, the company has already stopped polishing the update as XDA Junior Member Majaque shared on forum screenshots of the Android Pie update on its device. According to the screenshots, the system with the latest November comes with the security patch. Apart from the apparent Android Pie features as adaptive battery and navigation gestures, the update also supports FM radio.
There is not much more known about the update so far. We do not know which regions the update rolls in and how widespread rollout is. If you own Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite, you can search for the update in About Phone Category in Settings. We will ensure that you provide the ZIP file for the OTA update as well as the flashing instructions as soon as they are available. The update is almost a gigabyte in size, so be sure to remember if you use a limited data plan.
