Models with Mideast roots take over Victoria's Secret Landing Runway

DUBAI: The top models of the planet turned into angels for Victoria's Secret Glitzy Fashion Show on Thursday, donating wings and plaid for a return to New York after a two-year hiatus.
With the show again on American soil, the sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid streamed on Manhattan's Pier 94 with likes like Kendall Jenner and Victoria's Secret Newcomer Winnie Harlow, AFP reported.
A view of models with Middle East roots participated in the show, including Melie Tiacoh, a French-born model of Lebanese heritage. Shanina Shaik, whose father is Saudi-Pakistani; and the American Palestinian Hadid sisters.

Banana's extravaganza is now in its 24 years. Lost last week, it will be broadcast all over the world on December 2nd.
Sixty models put on an Amazon screen of lovely waving locks, narrow bodies and sunscreen makeup for what is considered to be one of the most competitive shows in the industry.
"Fantasy Bra" – each year the collection they left the resistance – was modeled by Sweden's Elsa Hosk – a $ 1 million confectionery with 2,100 Swarovski diamonds that took 930 hours to do.
In the largest, most fashionable fashion show in the world, music was given this year from an admiration of stars led by Rita Ora. The exhibition was the culmination of weeks of decor and instagram-trailed publicity for the brand.
The 2018 show was characterized by a collaboration with London-based designer Mary Katrantzou who exhibited psychedelic body parts.

The Brazilian model Adriana Lima told AFP backstage in hair and make it never grow old even though she is 18th Victoria's Secret Show.
"I really thought that through the years I would be more relaxed and used to it. I'm as nervous as anxious as I've been," she said.
"We have fun," said French model Cindy Bruna.
"It's not about sacrificing. It's about working for what you want," she said. "We are here today, so it's worth it."
The organizers may have knocked on New York to host a softer show. Last year, Gigi Hadid and the singer Katy Perry, who had been exercised, were denied a visa for entry into China.
Model Ming Xi – who went again Thursday – tripped last year on the catwalk. In 2016 the show was held in Paris. Previously, it has also been held in Los Angeles, Miami and London.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese designer of the stars Zuhair Murad was a clear favorite of the show's after party, with the models Nadine Leopold, Lais Ribeiro, Josephine Writer and others who donate his sparkling design.
