Festival "Kaunas Mene": the game for no reason

The closest thing to us should be this day, the longest – according to the modern ones koučerių training – tomorrow. If we open, let's face it, let's admit: how much of this is the perception of the meaning of these two concepts for us? And the most interesting is not the meaning of time, but the location. Because we are often close to our expectations, dreams, desires, regardless of ephemeris, they are sometimes, and far from the present, from everyday activities and the responsibilities that accompany them. So close – is in the impossible zone, and far from it is here and now. Paradox. And yet another proof of "power of power".

To the extent that psychological texts, facts and evidence of the meaning and significance of human life are the experience of "here and now", we read, consistent with each statement, we are all mad in the seven steps of everyday life and reality. Therefore, we are always tired, sometimes angry, disappointed. The projection of that dream / wish is so properly arranged that we forget what is false, fictional. The same man is the champion of the distribution intelligence, a professional dreamblower who could only be shot by a burning circus.

Action and Punishment

No matter how well, our trained skills would be to overcome the concepts "near and far", the day comes when the present itself drops us. Then we start thinking, maybe you really do not really have to rush so much? Perhaps we can rest for a few tens of minutes and start running again – counting current seconds? In other words, maybe we can finally relax? And who can relax better than games.

Artist Alexandre Astier's interactive installation "Falling Feet" invites everyone to accompany the international contemporary art festival "Kaunas Mene" for the viewer in "Art Park" to play the game between a very popular French fanfare. On the first floor of the gallery there was a special gravel that existed, just entering the gallery which disturbed the viewer – you want to go through the exhibition after the quarry, listen to the sand that breaks under your feet. But the general visual image of A.stir's installation is a bit stopped – you do not want to break the artwork. Climbing is however allowed and even mandatory. The silver-steel balls are placed and a small light-ball ball invites you to play at least one pitching lot. Thus, the artwork is not a static, irreversible object, but an action place.

The installation becomes an action, and when the viewer visits it – a rebound, after which the original video is no longer there.

It is true that the artist is not so tight from the gallery's "frames" and the installation complements minimalist drawings and abstract objects hanging on the walls. They do not disturb the pet, and I'm a little tired of the game, I can quietly look around the exhibits. A. Aster's installation grows out of work as an object, forms and becomes an achievement, a collective work, which simultaneously complements and perishes the viewer.

After each competition game, the exhibition space changes (elsewhere there are steel balls, the coating is shaken, static nature is retained by hanging pictures and objects only). The installation becomes an action, and when the viewer visits it – a rebound, after which the original video is no longer there. It is not only interesting to engage in the game itself, but also to see that space itself changes from the repeated coffin and adrenaline.

The changing space is the installation of Neringa Novokaitė Art Deco, shown in the altered space of the second floor gallery.

The walls of the exhibition hall painted on black lines are already obvious for the change: the plain white-white rectangle becomes a dark corrugated corridor illuminated by N.Naujokaitė's projection projection and video. The walls of the gallery offer views of the intersectional restoration process. The slides contain stairs, space clips, which contain genuine interior details. The image provides images from the restoration process itself, allowing the viewer to observe the progress of space reform, which is complemented by documentary.

The visual and text material of the installation shows a complicated process for restoration of the apartment. The artist not only expresses the personal fascination of the interwar inheritance, its authenticity, recognizes the need to preserve all the details of the interior without changing it, but also reveals bureaucratic mechanisms to restore a unique architectural legacy.

Certainly, the installation itself confuses the viewer a little more – it reminds the aesthetically presented documentary as it raises the question: where is the artwork? And maybe this is because of the fact that when we get to the gallery, we always expect an exhibition something tangible. As a result, the installation of N.Naujokaitė at the first glance falls from this context as a collection of documentary material that has been collected nicely.

But perhaps is the art of talking about facts, to motivate the cultural heritage to preserve it for future generations? Perhaps art is the restoration of the present, preserves all its constituents and keeps it for the future? Perhaps the purpose of the developer is to talk about art?

Play for no reason

On the other hand, work is always a reason? Modern art often confuses questions, leaves doubts and doubts. Objects and objects in space "Opened Games" by Vladas Urbanavičius "Outdoors" simply means that "in the wind wants to do something secret and for no reason".

The playful space created by the viewer encourages relaxation. The loft on the third floor of the gallery resembles an untouched playground, where the buildings are supplies, outstanding structures. A flat red staircase with a descending black shadow, a vertical, empty structure that aims to support the ceiling of the ceiling, black rubber wheels, tightened with metal halves attached to the walls of the gallery so that they look at them from different perspectives resembles some recognizable forms. The entire installation works to stimulate the viewer's imagination.

After all koučeriai Teaching: Do not be afraid of being a child. Do you sometimes need a real reason for them and some real playgrounds? Just relax.
