German cars group Volkswagen plans to market a compact electric car to compete with the American electric vehicle manufacturing company Tesla Motors, says a press agency DPA Monday.
DPA points out that this car would cost less than 20,000 euros and would be the fastest in the world in 2022.
Volkswagen has not commented on this question yet.
Herbeth Dyss, director of the Volkswagen Group, has announced in advance that he intends to participate in a contest to combat Tesla.
