Students of upcoming artists are now led by the artistic director of the theater Alvis Hermani. And just under three months after the start of the training, the young have made their first production – "The Kalpa Boy's Summer. Home".

It is true that Hermanis protects students from some of the related phenomena of the actor's profession. And they are interviews in the media. But their first viewers expressed their views on the emergence of the new story.
The memory of the Latvian poet and the author Janis Akurater's "Kalpa Boy's Summer" is a poetic message of the youth experience, written by a writer who lives far from Latvia. Nostalgic feelings encouraged wrote at the age of 27 years. "The boy's boyfriend's summer" is Alwy Harman's favorite book, but the director who described the book led to reflection while working abroad for a long time.
"Them is, of course, youth! The youth who has passed all the meanings. Both the youth ability of a person and Latvia's youth in connection with this day"
Alvis Hermanis tells the show.
Twelve new players from the New Riga Theater will present themselves to the audience during the exercise.
The task of inviting imaginative paintings in an empty space with good text together with composer Peter Vaska was to prepare students for the first year in two months.
"There is cleanliness right now. Of course, there is a lot of work to do, both in language and in the actors. It's just awaiting you. But its metaphor with this white sheet as they start seems to be a promising first step," says Ruta Muktupāvela , Rector of the Latvian Culture Academy.
"The fact that actors in this show are beginners are exactly the concept," stresses Herman. "To" loss of virgin "is already a story about it. I would not beat this show with them after four years, since they would have had all sorts of tricks."
In turn, the teacher of Latvia's Cultural Academy, director Anna Eižvertiņa, emphasizes: "They look first and foremost on their youth! The first steps they make are good. Each master has his own taste and style. The most valuable thing that seemed to me just now the bottom was magic under Akuratera's text. "
"In terms of innovation, they now have experts and specialists we are no longer!", Says Alvis Hermanis.
Performance "Kalpa Boy's Summer. Home" is not a one-time project, but a permanent production of the New Riga Theater repertoire that will be premiere on November 17th.
