The Russian motorcycle manufacturer, Ural, does not intend to drag behind the world trends and has created a prototype of its electric motor, developed with the companies Zero Motorcycles and ICG.

The electric motorcycle is based on the Ural-based CT model, electric motors, batteries and electronic components used by Zero Motorcycles, while California ICG is responsible for the design and development of the first concept.

The environmentally friendly Ural motorcycle is equipped with a Z-Force 45-kilowatts (61 Zs, 110 Nm) electric motor and a 19.5 kilowatt-hour battery that can provide a running margin of approximately 165 km. Prototype built-in charger that allows power to be taken from power supply and charge up to 95% over 13 hours.

Ural claims that the electric motor accelerates very quickly, but does not reveal exact data. The prototype is known to have a top speed of 140 km / h, but is recommended by the manufacturer – 105 km / h.

Ural Electric Motorcycle will be available for evaluation at the Progressive Motorcycle Show in the United States, Long Beach, from November 16 to November 18th. The manufacturer emphasizes that the decision on serial production will be taken into account in view of potential customer response and interest in the company's new product.

Let's say that Zero Motorcycles offers four electric motorcycle models, but the legendary Harley-Davidson has just presented its first electric motorcycle.
