If you are wondering why your new PlayStation 5 higher than your friends, we can have the answer you are looking for. In fact, according to a recent survey of the French portal Digital, it seems that not all Sony consoles are equipped with the exact same fan.
As often happens in the technical field, it happens that the products are not completely identical to each other and that some of them use slightly different components. Often these small changes have no effect on the product’s function and it is almost impossible to notice, in other cases you can see the difference. In the second category, we also find PlayStation 5 fans, as they are in the consoles two different types of fans, all with different sound levels. It should be noted that the difference between the two fans is not incredible, as we are talking about 39 dB for the less noisy (the one on the left in the picture at the bottom of the news) e 43 dB for the other (the one on the right in the image below). If you’re wondering, this has nothing to do with the PS5’s flushing, which is a completely fan-related sound emitted by the console components when the console is under load.
