During the 33 years he led nephrology and dialysis, Alfonso Vasile was one of the main figures in the hospital’s life and took important positions in various sectors, from the Department of Prevention to the trade union. Appreciated by all for his discretion, Vasile had also made himself known on a national level and managed to convey his professionalism, his commitment and his passion for the rapid development of medicine to young doctors.

Colleagues remember him for «genuine authenticity, professionalism and innate elegance that distinguished him – explain the doctors in Palmanova -. Dr. Vasile, up there, as well as your adult nephew, your daughter and your wife, are also looking at us ».
