»Army Injures Twenty Palestinians In Nablus-IMEMC News

Media sources in Nablus said that many army jeeps invaded Amman Street, and those areas surrounding Joseph's tomb, east of the city, attacked dozens of protesters and wounded at least twenty.

The invasion was carried out by about 1,000 settlers, in many buses and dozens of soldiers in armored armored vehicles.

They added that the soldiers kicked a block of gas and brainwashing grenades on the protesters in addition to a number of homes and shops, which led to fire in a store to sell spare parts to vehicles.

The head of the Palestinian Red Halftime League in Nablus, Ahmad Jibreel, said a young man suffered a crime in his arm while another young man was taken with live rounds in his leg before the two rushed to Rafidia Hospital.

He added that several Palestinians were handled with rubber coated steel balls, and fourteen others suffered from the inhalation of tear gas and received the necessary treatment of PRCS medics.

In related news, the soldiers stopped an ambulance transporting an elderly woman to a hospital in the eastern part of Nablus, forcing the ambulance to turn around and look for alternative, longer roads.

In addition, the soldiers invaded the Dahia area of ​​Nablus City and Kafr Qalil City, east of the city, before invading Yasser Afeef Amers home and looking for the property, in addition to occupying the roof to use it as a monitoring station.

The army also abducted a young man, identified as Ahmad Anan Mansour, 19, from his home in the city after invading and reaching it.

The Patriarch Joseph is revered by Jews, Muslims, Christians and Samaritans, but Israel allows only Jews in the sanctuary, because they think the grave is his last resting place.

Palestinians usually hold that the grave is the funeral monument to Sheikh Yousef Dweikat, a local religious and social figure.

In related news, the soldiers abducted two former political prisoners near Jenin, northwestern bank, in addition to five Palestinians, including a legislator, in several parts of the West Bank.
