The new Motorola Razr has been in the spotlight for the past few days and for the right reasons. With its blend of throwback clamshell design and unique horizontal folding screen, Motorola's first collapsible safe has aroused excitement in the smartphone world.
We already knew that the new Razr will come with a $ 1,500 asking price in the US, but a new report suggests that European users will have to pay € 1,680 (that's about $ 1,860) for the locked variant.
The report also describes that the new Razr will be available on January 24 in Sweden. Other European countries such as the Netherlands are also expected to receive the new Razr around that time period with a price tag in the range of € 1,600.
One of the big gripes with the new Razr comes with its sliding chipset and camera, which leaves a lot to be desired, especially at that kind of price. At the same time, Motorola has shied away from releasing flagship apps recently and the new Razr really does offer a collapsible screen at a lower price compared to Samsung and Huawei.
