Former champion Magnus Carlsen has to wait for his first win at the Chess World Championships in London. The second game also ended in drawing – and was a great success for challenger Fabiano Caruana, who surprised Carlsen with the rare root of a variant of the deflected Queen's gambit. In the end, Caruana had no trouble securing the draw.
After the second game and today's day of rest, it will continue on Monday with the third meeting (16 clock, live ticker SPIEGEL ONLINE).
