"We come there! We come there thanks to you. Every day is counting. It's because we're together to get there, we have the same fight. I hope there will be a confirmed recovery," said Bruno Le Maire at a meeting at the site with trade unions, elected officials and Ascoval President Cédric Orban.
Announced Wednesday by Bercy, this visit comes as 281 employees in the company resumed work Monday, after a week's blocking, pending a court decision on the proposed recovery filed by the franco-Belgian group Altifort.
This decision will be taken on December 12, announced Wednesday the Commercial Chamber of the High Court of Strasbourg. This new deadline is intended to refine Altifort's offer and to reach an agreement with the steel industry Vallourec, shareholders and main customer.
