KAMPALA, November 12 (Xinhua) – Ndejje University's men's team represents Uganda at the 3×3 FISU World University League, which takes place in Xiamen, China, from 15-18 November.
"Because we are the African champions, we come to China to prove a point we can compete in the top. We go to China with a view to the overall title," Samuel Ajak, Ndejje University Captain, told Xinhua on Monday.
Team leader Walker Obedi told Xinhua that although they are aware that several top universities from Europe and Asia will participate, his team has worked well to prove one point.
"We are not a weak team of actions and we go out and learn and also show that we are a strong team," added the coach.
Ndejje University qualified after reaching the top of 2018 African University Games held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
