Exclusive: The veteran coach wants Kwesi Appiah to use the duo who returns to the outfit since September 2017
Former Hearts of Oak Trainer JE Sarpong has admitted his thrill in the news of Andre and Jordan Ayew's return to the Black Stars squad but wants the team Kwesi Appiah to take out the best of the duo when they lock horns with Ethiopia in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying it November 18th.
The brothers had been sidelined since September last year after claiming to have weakened illness and injury to skip the match against Congo in Brazzaville.
With Ghana fighting in the campaign, Sarpong considers it to be the perfect time for the couple's return.
"I'm glad they'll be back, but Kwesi Appiah must be able to handle his return very well to get the most out of them," he said..
"I think Appiah did well in their decision to ignore them, firstly because what they did to him by refusing to play in the fight against Congo was disappointing. Differences have been resolved now so the brothers need management from the coach to get result against Ethiopia. "
"We can not just throw them away and with their return it is very possible that we defeat Ethiopia in Addis Ababa and then finish Kenya in the finale to qualify for the tournament," added Sarpong.
Ghana occupies third place in Group F with three points, four leaders Kenya and one behind Ethiopia.
