The Metropolitan police in Aburrá valley started a disciplinary investigation for the procedure which ended with a motorcyclist's death at noon on Sunday in Envigado municipality.
As reported by EL COLOMBIANO, a motorized patrol followed a young man near the Envigado subway station. According to the preliminary versions, the boy did not obey an order to stop it uniformed, which generated his reaction.
In full follow-up, one of the officers fired, which led to the young man falling and his immediate death, in a corner of Carrera 49 and Calle 36sur, behind Viva shopping center. The victim was identified as Gonzalo Adolfo Montoya Porras, 21 years old.
Asked by this situation, Colonel Pablo Ruiz, subcommandant of the Metropolitan Police, declared: "As the patrol of the quadrant was revealed, they requested an order to stop or arrest a young man who was mobilized on a high speed motorcycle. It starts a police persecution and as a result, unfortunately, the young man dies with a shot of the quadrant. "
Instead of the fact approaching several citizens and between the tears, the uniformed attitude challenged and argued that the deceased was not a thief, but a possible unaccompanied student who had several academic texts.
