Samsung gave a taste of its future folding device that would for the first time integrate a fully flexible Amoled panel, which panel was dubbed as "Infinity Flex Display".
The announcement was made on Wednesday during the opening of the Samsung Developers Conference (SDC 2018), in San Francisco, California (USA), where they had to turn off the lighting in the auditorium to avoid details of the device's design, which was also hidden in a casing .
Samsung explained that the device is not ready and what was shown was just a prototype, but it will be sold in 2019.
It will have two screens, one outside that will be used as any other smartphone and one inside, with the ability to display tablet features.
This flexible panel will have a new user interface, which allows adjusting windows of up to three simultaneous applications in different sizes and spaces on screen, thereby having an optimization that would adapt to the user's taste. The panel would measure 7.3 inches, but it was not specified under any resolution. Its manufacturing consists of a technique for folding panels developed by the company, which has a new protective layer with a polymer that makes it possible to be flexible and resistant simultaneously.
