Google Translate, Google's translator, goes one step further in its service. So far I have picked up your voice and translated your sentences into text in the language of your choice. From now on, the result of your translation is a sound in the chosen language … but with your own voice.
It was the Californian company itself who announced this advance on their blog on artificial intelligence. The system that allows this advance has been named "Translatotron" and ensures that it not only prevents a step in the translation (conversion of your original meaning into the text), but it is much more accurate.
"Translalotron" is the first end-to-end model that can directly translate words spoken in one language into words spoken in another, Google says.
Google gathers voice for the user using spectograms, that is, the result of calculating the spectrum of event threads for a signal. (20minutes)
