Colina Oral Criminal Court decided frikännedom for four people who had been the subject of fraud to the treasury and embezzlement of public funds, this within the framework of the soporiet.
The actual circumstances attributed in this case corresponded to the presentation of services to the charges of two accused public officials in the municipality of Cerro Navia, as discovered by the verifier.
The people were accused of presenting polls without justifying their work in the municipality of Colina in one of the edges of the Baura case.
After an oral trial lasting more than 20 days, the Colina Court has described as insufficient evidence for the public ministry, so in this way the municipal mayor, Mario Olavarríahe was acquitted
To him they add Isabel Valenzuela (who was head of community development of Colina between 2010-2015), Marcela Morales (official in the municipality of Cerro Navia) and César Vidal (social worker).
The court criticized the evidence for the prosecution and described them as inadequate and had deficiencies. He also questioned the work done by the investigating police.
After knowing the decision, Olavarría said he had been the victim of a persecution of the prosecutor's office.
