A giant asteroid of more than 200 meters is approaching full speed against the ground, according to NASA.
According to the US space organization, the rock named 2018 LF16 could hit our planet with a power of 50 megatons, such as a nuclear weapon, according to The Sun. Of course, it is virtually impossible for this to happen.
The Asteroid could pass close to Earth on August 8, 2023, although there are also two other probable dates: August 3, 2024 and August 1, 2025.
According to English media, the rock has a size similar to two Big Ben, the classic clock in London.
It should be repeated that the potential that affects our planet is practically zero. In this sense, in the Torino scale, there is a "zero" chance that will hit the earth.
