Finally realize that dark and serious is not the way to go, the marketing team behind Married leans into the goofiness. Venom Blu-ray Release Trailer
Well, that's different. Before Married heat theater director Ruben Fleischer and company sold it as a dark, gritty, violent anti-superhero movie. But the symbiot is out of pocket, now everyone knows Married is pretty stupid – but not stupid enough to stop the movie from becoming a huge hit. Actually, Married has now made $ 822.5 million worldwide, making the movie more successful than both Wonder Woman and Dead.
Rather than running out of that silliness, Sony leans into it and gives Married one Dead-like trailer renegotiation the movie as a space-com between Tom Hardy and a giant slim monster. They even throw in the scene where Hardy and Venom turn out. The trailer also has Michelle Williams who makes this face:
Frankly, I would rather see the most fake movie advertised here than the real one Married. Perhaps Married 2 will go full blown comedy and embrace the love between a stranger who eats head and a man with a stupid voice. We can only hope. All that said, although this is clearly meant to be a joke, the trailer is still everywhere. The movie begins with a nice snowfall to play the high season and then abandon that idea entirely for room com id instead. Decide, Married.
