Twitter no longer limits you to its algorithmic timeline

In September, Twitter announced that the company will finally return its OG, reverse chronological timeline that everyone loved. Today, the company has begun rolling out the new reverse chronological timeline to all users in IOS.

The major update to the company's iOS app lets users switch between top tweets and latest tweets, with the former as the company's algorithmic timeline. Although top tweets are a great way to get along with things, Twitter is really about real-time updates, so the algorithmic timeline never really matters to a platform like Twitter.

The switch should be a welcome change for all users. And the Twitter app will apparently be the default for the latest tweet timeline if you usually switch to the latest tweets option quite often. This feature rolls out on iOS today, and it will be coming to Android users later.
