The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge pack their bags to head to Pakistan!
Kensington Palace announced via social media (what time to live!) That Prince William and Kate Middleton "will make an official visit to Pakistan this fall at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office".
Further details will be notified in good time, they added.
This mark is the couple's first visit to our country, although other members of the royal family have been here before; On their Instagram, they continued that "Her Majesty Queen visited Pakistan in 1961 and 1997, and the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall visited in 2006.
Pakistan's High Commissioner in London welcomed the announcement.
"The upcoming royal visit is a reflection of the importance that the United Kingdom attaches to its relations with Pakistan. The two countries have historical links that both sides want to further strengthen," says Mohammad Nafees Zakaria.
Diana, Princess of Wales, also made the trip to Pakistan several times.
If you wonder, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not join; The Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed their joint Instagram account that they will be on their Africa trip this fall.
