FortisBC, the natural gas supplier for many homes in the province, says delivery status is "normal" after a pipeline explosion in October.

For several months, the gas company has urged British colombians to save gas after the Enbridge pipeline break.

Now it is said that extra conservation is no longer required and customers can resume regular use.

"Thanks to Enbridge's increased pipeline capacity, warmer weather and our customers' conservation efforts, we are optimistic with our current gas supply situation," wrote a spokesman in an email.

"Our gas supply panel now shows our status as" normal "instead of" limited "."

The spokesman added that the Enbridge pipeline is still not back to full capacity, and those customers should still pay attention to gas usage.

"Smart use of natural gas enables our customers to lower their bills and save energy," said spokesman.
