Driver kicks passengers from Vancouver bus after she apparently hit him

VANCOUVER (NEWS 1130) – "Get the hell from my bus:" That was what a bus driver told a passenger on the 100 eastern road this afternoon.

A video sent to the NEWS 1130 shows that the bus driver calls for a passenger after she apparently attacked him around Knight Street Bridge.

"Turn off my bus right now or call the police. You will not contact anyone when they drive a bus full of people," he says.

Steven, who took the video, said other passengers told him that they saw that the woman met or touched the driver in any way. He says that the woman approached the driver, yelled, after she did not go to the swimmer and missed her, stopped.

"She walked from the back of the bus to the front of the bus, tried to get the driver's attention, apparently she hit or attacked the bus driver in any way," he said.

And after the event there was "a lot of excitement," he says. "This is obviously not something that most people see every day. A couple of people went up to the bus driver afterwards to make sure he was okay."

TransLinks Jill Drews said in an email that they do not have the information at hand but will look at it tomorrow.
