An UI beta appears for some US unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9 users

We have some great news for owners of the unlocked Samsung Galaxy Note 9: Samsung seems to have opened the task One UI. A user interface is Samsung's rebranding of Samsung Experience 10 and builds on Android Pie. It has a massive review of cross-border bases with emphasis on unusual user-friendly and a system-wide dark theme. The One UI beta program is already available for Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 + in France, Germany, Korea, USA and other regions. Samsung has not yet officially announced a beta program for Galaxy Note 9, so we were surprised when we received several tips on the beta version being available to some Not 9 owners in the US

XDA members Nochlab1 and CrazyApe18 in our connected SamCentral Discord server let us know that Samsung now lets US unlocked Galaxy Note 9 users sign up for One UI beta. Nochlab1 took the latest Samsung + APK file and shared the following screenshots that show the One UI beta registration screen. If you have a US unlocked Galaxy Note 9 (SM-N960U1) or willing to blink to the firmware, you may want to register yourself.

So far, we have seen that both Sprint and Verizon users who run U1 firmware could sign up for the beta program. It is possible that other operators will be supported soon, but at present only the unlocked firmware seems to be able to sign up. We should note that of the 3 users who informed us that the registration is now available, none of them have actually received the update yet. If you'd rather not wait for the update, we'll have a guide on how to officially update the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Samsung Galaxy Note 9 to the latest leaked One UI beta.

Samsung has never previously had a beta program for the Galaxy Note series, so this is an interesting development. For those users who spent hundreds (or even over a thousand) US dollars on Samsung's best flagship, you can now also get a taste of Samsung's latest software experience. To check if the registration is available on your device, download the latest Samsung + app and check the banner up.

The official Android Pie update for the Galaxy S9, Galaxy S9 + and Galaxy Note 9 is scheduled for January 2019. We will notify you when it's live, or if beta expands to more Not 9 owners in other regions. For Note 9 owners in other regions, you'll need the latest Samsung Member app rather than Samsung +.
