Orphans in their teens. The school collections are in the last tenth grade. He used to sell cosmetics from house to house for food. Many fast-paced actors are fascinated by his acting. But after spending decades in Bollywood, Arshad Warsi did not get the expected fame or recognition.
He was born on April 19, 1986 in Mumbai. He used to study at a residential school in Nashik. His father died of cancer when he was a student at the school. Mother died 2 years later due to kidney failure. The last study in the tenth grade before school crossed borders.
At a young age, Arshad’s life struggle began when the shadow of his guardian was removed from his head. At the age of 18, he started making money selling house-to-house cosmetics. After that, he worked in the photo studio’s laboratory for a few days. The only joy in a troubled life was hindi cinema. Loved watching dance, especially in movie scenes. He would quickly pick up some dance.
After working for a few days in an English drama team, Akbar got a chance in Samir’s dance team. Arshad was on the choreography team for two films from 1966, Address and Mahesh Bhatt’s Kash. Over the next five years, she won two famous dance competitions at home and abroad.
She started her own dance studio and dance group with prize money. In 1993, he choreographed the title track of ‘Roop Ki Rani Choron Ka Raja’. By now, the players in Jaya Bachchan felt that victory was guaranteed and began to play it safe, focusing on defense and not risking too much going forward. He later said in various interviews that Jaira’s contribution was behind his career. Together with Jaya, he has helped him on his career path.
His first appearance on screen was in 1989. She was seen in a small role in the dance sequence in the movie “Ag Se Khelenge”. However, Warsi’s first film as a full-fledged actor was Amitabh Bachchan’s production company ‘Tere Mere Sapne’. Released in 1997.
Over the next few years, he starred in several films including ‘Betabi’, ‘Hero Hindustani’, ‘Hogi Pyaar Ke Jeet’, ‘Trishakti’, ‘Mujhe Meri Bibi Se Banchao’. But in no film did he reach the first line of the audience’s choice. He has to wait until 2003. ‘Munnabhai MBBS’ was released the same year.
With the superduper hit at the box office, Warsi became the ‘circuit’ of the industry. The duo Sanjay Dutt and Arshad Warsi were the main catalyst for the success of this film. After his fantastic performance in the role of ‘Circuit’, several opportunities came to Arshad.
He starred in films such as ‘Halchal’, ‘Kuch Mitha Ho Jaaye’, ‘Salam Namaste’ and ‘Golmaal’. But we had to wait for success as Munnabhai for the second part of ‘Lage Raho Munnabhai’. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the film also made a splash at the box office.
Arshad never joined the race to become a hero. But he could not get among the successful side actors in Bollywood. He has remained as a co-actor. There is no precedent that any film has been a super hit with his solo performance.
Other notable films in his filmography include ‘Halla Bowl’, ‘Crazy Four’, ‘Golmaal Returns’, ‘Ishqiya’, ‘Hum Tum Aur Ghost’, ‘Golmaal Three’, ‘Double Dhamal’, ‘Zila Ghaziabad’, ‘Jolly’ L ‘LB’, ‘Dere Ishqiya’, ‘Welcome to Karachi’, ‘Golmaal Again’, ‘The Legend of Michael Mishra’ and ‘Total Dhamal’.
He has also acted on the small screen. He has played with Karisma Kapoor for a long time in the series “Karisma-The Miracles of Destiny”. He has played in shows like ‘Bigg Boss’ and ‘Zara Nachke Dikha’. Although he pays more attention to comedy films, Arshad likes to see himself in serious roles.
But many well-known actors including Nasiruddin Shah, Vidya Balan, Boman Irani agree that he is not widely used in the Hindi film industry. They believe that the directors could not use Arshad’s talent in that way. In addition to acting, many well-known personalities in the industry have also acknowledged that he is unsurpassed when it comes to dance.
Arshad got his future life partner through dance. Early in his career, in 1991, he became a judge in a dance competition at St. Xavier’s College. Among the participants was Maria Goretti, a student at St. Andrews College. Arshad was impressed by her dance and smile.
To deepen the conversation, Arshad suggested that Maria join his dance group. But Mary denied it. Arshad did not give up even after being rejected. He keeps trying to get Maria’s mind. After a first delay, Maria also agreed to join Arshad’s dance group.
One day, after being accompanied by two people, Arshad suggested Maria. But in response Mary refuses her love. Arshad understood that Mary loved him. But do not admit to the face. Arshad tried his best to do that. Maria took the opportunity to do a dance show in Dubai and mixed some beer in a cold drink.
Maria, who is not used to Sura, admits that she loves Arshad. Can not live without him. After that who gets Arshad! The two still laugh at this old memory. However, Maria’s parents did not first accept Arshad as her son-in-law. However, after talking to Arshad, they did not object.
Arshad Warsi and Maria Goretti got married on Valentine’s Day 1999 after 6 years of love. First in the church then at home marriage. They have a wonderful family with son Jake and daughter Jane Joe. They want to spend family vacations at least twice a year. Arshad also went out with his bike if he wanted to.
But the melody of a happy marriage was cut once. At that time, Arshad was busy with his production house. He could not give time to his family due to work pressure. This was the beginning of the marriage dispute. After dragging on for about 9 months, it finally stopped. Arshad has decided not to produce films at the moment. Rather, he will enjoy the company of his wife and children. Source: Anandabazar
