One in a connection between groups of two groups in Raypura



One killed in Tangail Tofail Hossain (18) was shot in the clash between two groups of villagers because of predatory domination of Narsingdi. At least 10 people were injured in the attack. Meanwhile 3 people were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

The event occurred on Friday November 16th in the village of Bansgari in Charanchal of Roypura upazila.

Roypura Police Inspector (investigation) Mozaffar Hossain confirmed the information.

Police and locals said that the supporters of Banshangari Union Parishad, chairman of the Awami League, leader Sirajul Haque, and supporters of former chairman of the Awami League Shahed government had a dispute over the area's dominance for a long time. UP Chairman Sirajul Haque was killed by fire on May 3rd in the dispute. Soon after, he became ill and suddenly, Shahed Sarker.

Following the assassination of UP Chairman Sirajul Haq, Shahdeed's followers fled from the area who feared the opponent. After fleeing long after the Shahden's followers returned to the area, the supporters of the opposition Siraj attacked them with firearms. At least 10 people were injured because both parties participated in the conflict. Meanwhile, four people were taken to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital where doctors declared Tofail Hossain dead dead. In critical condition, 3 people were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.

Raipura Police Inspector (survey) Mozaffar Hossain said, "After receiving the news, Raipura Police Station took the situation under control and police officers deployed in the area. The body of the death was held at Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morning.
