Begum Khaleda Zia, who was admitted to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) hospital, could be taken back to Dhaka Central Prison on Nazimuddin Road on Thursday. He will be produced before the court in the case of Nike Corruption. At the meeting he does not stop back to the hospital. The information was found in BSMMU and the prison's reliable sources.
On October 6, BNC Chairman Khaleda Zia was taken to the BSMMU Hospital for treatment. As such, after being sent to prison after going to court, he will return to jail after one month and two days.
According to sources, a large number of police and security measures have been strengthened in BSMMU Hospital and Nazimuddin Road areas to present Begum Khaleda Zia to the court in the Nike Corruption case. The entrance to the cottage block has been closed.
Brigadier General Abdullah Al Harun, chief of BSMMU Hospital, refused to give a direct answer as to whether Khaleda Zia would return to prison today. He said he was taken to the hospital for treatment or returning to medical treatment is dependent on current law.
Asking whether his physical state is in a state of repatriation to the central prison and if the health committee has expressed its opinion, they would also give their opinion according to the law if they want to know the imprisonment authorities according to the jurisdiction.
