Apple
The decision to no longer report iPhone sales has led many to adopt the iPhone XS (
details), iPhone XS Max (details) and iPhone XR (details) must be in trouble. This is too early, but trying to woo new customers will not help now, Apple has received a serious hardware issue on its game-exchange model … & nbsp;

Takes to it official website, Apple has warned customers iPhone X models "may experience touching problems due to a component that may fail on the monitor". Apple says this means that "The display, or part of the display, does not respond or respond intermittently to touch" and potentially "The display responds despite not being touched."

Curious has Apple ruled out its common line which indicates that only a "small percentage" of devices is affected. This is a term that the company used previously enough to include the infamous (and ongoing) MacBook Butterfly keyboard debacle.

The good news is that showing problems is quite easy to detect and if your iPhone X is affected, "Apple or an Authorized Apple Provider will replace the display module on eligible devices for free." If you have already paid for this repair you are now entitled to a refund so make sure you get it.

A precautionary note. Apple warns iPhone X owners like "If your iPhone X has any damage that degrades the ability to complete the repair, such as a broken screen, the problem must be resolved before service. In some cases, there may be a charge associated with the additional repair."

This requires some consideration as iPhone repair costs is notoriously expensive and what you consider to be insignificant, Apple may say that it needs to be replaced so that you do not want to send in a phone that leaves something to doubt. Especially if you do not have it AppleCare insurance.

Similarly, Apple will update your iPhone to the latest version of iOS before returning. iOS 10 holdouts will not like this, while there are some about bugs in iOS 12.1. That said, there is no way you should go to a wrong-soldier soldier to avoid a software upgrade.

More remarkable is Apple's latest warning means serious hardware fraud has now affected iPhone X, iPhone 8 (details), iPhone 7 (details) and iPhone 6 (details). That kind of track record will not help boost Apple's sales of new secret iPhones, especially on the backside of major operators pulling eSim support
