There is an area in the brain that we did not know until now. This is what Australian neuroscience George Paxinos has said, reports journal Science Alert. The expert and his team develop a new atlas of brain anatomy.
Researchers have named the area as "Endo residue spongiform kernel", because it is inside (endo) of the inferior cerebellar peduncle (also called the restiform body). The area attends reception sensory informationand engine for maintaining balance and body movements.
Neuroscientists have come up in the brain structure while using one hjärntonteknik relatively new to clarify images of brain tissues in full task to elaborate their last neuroanatomatlasen. This technique helps to distinguish neuronal groups through its function, which contrasts with the traditional way of separating them according to the appearance of cells.
Paxinos, who has written 52 books on brain shortage, plans to continue using this new tuning technique to search the brain more fragments and get a better understanding of how they work.
