Another edition of Cosquín Rock, the festival that brings together 150 bands at Santa María de Punilla Aerodrome, was developed over the weekend. One of the groups he played was Eruca Sativa, the 40 minute show he claimed for legal abortion, safe and free and so there are more women in the mega musical event.
José Palazzo, organizer of Cosquín Rock, explained in a dialogue with Los Andes that he might not be able to fill it with talented artists if he had to put 30 percent of groups led by women – as stated in the law. "I would have to complete it by meeting that quota, however they would not be up to the task of the festival and would have to leave other types of talent, "he said.
In communication with TN Show, the producer admitted that in reality what he meant is that "There are not as many female bands as meeting the 30 percent needed."
"I have no problem with the quota of women. What happens in Cosquín Rock is that when playing 150 bands, there must be 45 women. Maybe today, the scene does not have many female bands, he says.
He then assured them that they would take away from other formations while trying to reach the goal of the female quota. "The problem is because of the number of artists, It has nothing to do with whether they are women or not. I always referred to the amount of tape ", he concluded.
